Bechics（ベシックス）は2016年8月13日、東京・中目黒にOPENしました。
Bechics（ベシックス）とはBasicとBe chicのアナグラムであり、
二つの言葉が持つ意味をコンセプトにした”大人のための上品で芯のあるスタイルをつくる場所”として名付けました。
「ベーシック」と「シック」を基準に選んだ商品は強く美しいという共通点を持ち、端正な佇まいの背景には
優れた「美意識・技術・品質・伝統・文化」そして、一点を追求した先に見える創造性が裏打ちされています。
また、シックには何にも形容することができない曖昧なニュアンスが含まれます。
それは空気であり、心意気であり、或いはあなたらしさでもあるとも考えます。
これまでのファッションは政治や経済などヒトと社会、自然などが創る世の中の気分を映す鏡でもある一方、
映画・音楽・アートなどと同じように、未来への希望を込めて生み出す夢のようなものでもありました。
また、それらの影響を受けたトレンドが次々と生まれてくる事もファッションの面白さとして欠かせませんが、
いまは一時的な高揚感だけでなく、自ら考え価値を選択する事がとても大切な時代だと感じます。
それは、ある日ふと気づく花の美しさやかけがえのない家族や友人と過ごす時間のように、
ファッションも温もりやつながりを感じられる事がより求められるようになったと言えるのではないでしょうか。
言い換えるなら「自分らしく生きること」がファッションにとって大きな意味を持つようになったいま、
Bechicsではあなただけにしかないたった一つのベーシック、そしてシックが存在すると考え、
一人一人のお客様らしさ、延いては姿形だけではなくヒトが持つ自然で美しい心をスタイリングしたいと考えています。
そして、「ファッションは楽しい。」
そんな当たり前のことをもう一度丁寧に、一から創っていくことを考え小さなお店を構えました。

Bechics opened on August 13, 2016, in Nakameguro, Tokyo.
Bechics is an anagram of "Basic" and "Be chic" and was named as a place to create elegant and solid styles for adults, based on the concept of the meanings these two words hold.
The products selected based on "Basic" and "Chic" have a common feature of being strong and beautiful, and behind their dignified appearance, they are supported by excellent "aesthetic sense, craftsmanship, quality, tradition, and culture." Moreover, they are backed by creativity that emerges from pursuing a single point.
In addition, "Chic" includes an ambiguous nuance that cannot be described by anything specific. It can be considered as the atmosphere, the spirit, or even your own uniqueness.
Fashion has been a mirror reflecting the moods of society, individuals, and nature, such as politics and the economy. It has also been a dream-like creation filled with hope for the future, similar to movies, music, and art.
Furthermore, the constant emergence of trends influenced by these factors is an essential aspect of the excitement of fashion. However, I believe we are now in a time where it is crucial to choose values and think for ourselves, not just temporary excitement.
Fashion, like the beauty of a flower that you suddenly notice one day or the irreplaceable time spent with family and friends, now demands the ability to feel warmth and connections. It can be said that "living true to oneself" has gained significant meaning in fashion.
At Bechics, we believe that each individual has their own unique Basic and Chic, and we aspire to style not only the appearance but also the natural and beautiful hearts that every person possesses.
And above all, "Fashion is fun." With that simple truth in mind, we have established a small shop with the intention of creating everything from scratch, thoughtfully and carefully.
